Time is a cruel unforgiving bitch.

It seems not long ago I was chugging along like the little engine that could -- writing, reviewing, blogging, tweeting -- but I became distracted, and time knocked my ass to the ground. A recent search of the followers listed for my webpage and blog, and yes, even other pages I follow, have gone dormant or defunct. It would appear my own website and blog has suffered the same fate.

Well, I'm not quite ready to hold the flowers and have lime thrown on me just yet. I refuse to entertain the thought that my author name may have fallen into the abyss of irrelevance. I know what I must do. I must start again from the beginning while still holding to my accomplishments of the past.

Time has a way of slipping beyond our forbearance, but I want to believe that even though lost for the moment, my place in time is recoverable.

The lifespan of a gnat is a mere seven days. But within that seven days, the little fly must sense that it has lived a lifetime relative to its own kind. In one week the gnat is born, changes from pupil to insect form, seeks food and shelter, seeks mates for the purpose of reproduction, and with all this achieved, it is reclaimed by the universe.

Therefore, I will no longer be complacent and satisfied. I will struggle and achieve as if my days were numbered. I will bring my time to heel and make it follow my desires. Yes, it will be a struggle and time will eventually unshackle herself and knock me down again -- but not without an earnest fight from me.

Lyrics from a popular song seem the best way to begin. I cannot believe how much time has passed since I last posted to this blog. Upon this realization I feared I'd been absent too long. And, in my absence, my readers and fans went elsewhere.

So, now I begin the journey anew. I will start from the great hole I've put myself into and claw my way upwards. Upwards towards the starry night. Upwards into the cool light of the moon.

Yes, I have been wandering but not without reason. Along with the writing I like in other genres, I've decided to make my way back to open-door fantasy. So, for those of you who've stayed with me, I thank you and will have more for you to read soon. For those new to my works, hold on--it's getting better and more fantastic, more romantic, more dark, more fueled by sensuous encounters, and even raw, unbridled lust.

There will be some changes and additions to this web page as well as my presence on other social media. So relax, pour yourself a cup of the blackest tea, and enjoy the ride.
